Happy New Year

I'm super duper happy cause mom and dad said I can stay up till midnight and ring in the New Year.  I hope I can stay awake!  I have sparkles and grape juice to celebrate.  How will you celebrate the New Year.  Dad asked me what my New Years resolution is going to be.  I'm not sure what that is so I have to find out.  Do you know?

It's snowing

It's snowing!  You know what that means right?  I'm gonna make ice cream.  You can make ice cream too.  Here's how....

Put a clean bowl outside to catch the falling snow.  After the bowl is filled you need 1 gallon of fresh snow add 1 cup of white sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 2 cups of milk.

So I'm going outside with a bowl and while it's filing with snow I think I'll make snow angels and maybe even a snowman.

I can't wait to make the ice cream.  I wonder if I can use use chocolate or strawberry milk to make flavored ice cream.  I'll ask mom.  I hope you get to make some too.

Merry Christmas

My Christmas was so much fun.   Lots of presents and lots of cookies! Of course my mom said I had to eat real food before I could have the cookies!  I hope you had a Merry Christmas.  What was your favorite gift?  Mine was a fuzzy pillow that lights up and changes colors.

I got some art supplies too so I think I'll draw a picture now.  I love the holidays, don't you? 

What's cookin?

Do you like to cook?  I do!   My mom let's me help her sometimes. Christmas is in a few days and I get to make the sweet potatoes - really I just put the marshmallows on. My dad always says they are the best! We have sweet potatoes at every holiday.  Are you helping out with the dinner?  Ask if you can - it's lots of fun

It's almost time

It's almost time and Santa will be here.   It's super duper cold outside but no snow yet. I bet it's as cold here as it is in the North Pole!  It's so cold that Daisy won't go outside at all.  I can't blame her!  I wonder if it's going to ever snow?  Mom said as soon as we have enough snow we can make ice cream.  I wonder what kind we'll make?  I wonder if Santa likes ice cream or just cookies and milk.

That was fun

Today Mom let me help her bake cookies.  We made all kinds, chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter and one with a weird name - snicker doodles isn't that funny?  But boy are they great.  They have cinnamon and sugar on them, just like the toast my  dad and I like.  He said we may eat some later with a big glass of cold milk.  Mom said we better not eat all of her cookies. I hope I can have a peanut butter one too.

Naughty or Nice

It's almost Christmas time - So I wrote my letter to Santa today. I think I've been nice but mom and dad said I've been naughty and will probably get coal, I guess I better start making my bed.  But anyway  I asked for some super duper art supplies.  I was thinking I may want to be an artist.  I sure hope Santa reads my letter. Oh and I'm going to make cookies with mom tomorrow I can't wait.  I love to bake!
