It's Saturday

Hooray it's Saturday. No school today.  I'm riding bikes with my friend Max and I think I'll bring Daisy's along.  Sometimes she rides in the basket  and sometimes she run along with us. But I have to watch her because she likes to stop and chase butterflies.  So, as soon as I get breakfast and mom and dad says it's OK, I'm going.  I hope we have a big adventure.

Do you like to write stories?

I think I'm going to write my very own book. It won't be a big book, really it'll be more like a story.  I'm not sure yet if it will be funny or scary.  Maybe even a little of both.  Maybe it'll be about a monster with pink fur and purple horns. I do know that I'm going to put glitter on the cover when I color it.

My mom has this cool machine that puts pages together like a notebook, maybe she can do that to my book.

If you wrote a book what would it be about?

I think I'll start mine right now.

Maybe I'll let you read it sometime and you can let me read yours.

Working on my Clubhouse

Today after dinner I got to paint in the clubhouse, you know my enchanted cottage clubhouse.  Mom and Dad said I can paint it however I want so I'm painting it to look like a garden.  I painted butterflies and bees.  Sometimes Max and LaLa helps - but mostly it's just me and Daisy.  My dad does paint the high stuff. 

I can hardly wait for school tomorrow.  I've been thinking about it all night. 

Tomorrow is music day - so watch out Stinky Stacy I'm singing as loud as I can.  

I'm having a sleepover!

Tonight my friend LaLa is spending the night.  We're having a sleepover!  We get to stay up as late as we want.  I think we'll paint our fingernails all kinds of crazy colors and watch movies and maybe play games.  When we wake up we get to help make pancakes.  Sometimes we stay at her house, but mostly we stay at mine cause her brothers always try to scare us in the middle of the night!

Sometimes my dad tries to scare us too but my mom makes him stops.  I wonder why boys like to scare people?

Anyway I can't wait for my sleepover!

Poo on you Stinky Stacy

Today at school in music class we were learning a new song.  Our teacher told us all to sing out - which means she wanted us to sing loud, so I did.

And wouldn't you know it Sticky Stacy told me I was too loud.  She said she couldn't hear herself sing!  then she said.... "Besides Bea YOU can't sing anyway" AND some of the kids started laughing.   Really the ones laughing was just Stinky Stacy's friends.

I call her Stinky Stacy cause she's always spraying this stinky strawberry perfume ALL OF THE TIME!  And she thinks she's so smart and so pretty and everything  AND she always makes fun of people that aren't her friends!

I was so mad!  I said,  Miss Falter told us to sing out - not good! and I just turned around and started signing again!

So maybe I can't sing as good as everyone else, but I can sing loud and the next time we have music I'm going to sing as loud as I can right in Stinky Stacy's ear!  

Going to the Groomers

Right after school today we took Daisy to the groomers.  She got her hair cut (The groomers called it a coat - but I say hair cause Daisy has lots of coats in her closet my favorite is the pink and brown one) anyway she got her hair and ears cut.  When they said they were cutting her ears I was so scared I thought they were really cutting her ears that she hears with. But they just cut the hair on her ears. The groomer held up Daisy's ear for me to look.  Then she told me she was going to cut Daisy's her ears up to the end of her face.  The lady said Daisy I would have the same hair cut.  How funny is that? She said we both have a bob I'm not sure what that means but all I know is Daisy looks cute!

And they painted Daisy toenails too!

Pop - Pop - Pop Corn

I love popcorn, don't you?  Sometimes when I get home from school my parents say I can have snack before dinner.  But they say it should be healthy!  I'm so excited to find out that popcorn is healthy.  AND I can make that by myself.  What's really awesome is I can make my very own microwave popcorn.  Not the kind that you buy in the store but my very own.

All you have to do is put 1/2 cup of popcorn in a small brown paper bag (the kind that you take your lunch in)  Fold the top of the bag over 2 or 3 times and then you put it in the microwave.

Our Microwave has a button for popcorn but it took a little while longer.  So now I push the buttons for 3 minutes and just listen for when the popping is almost finished.  And Presto just like magic (I like magic)  my very own microwave popcorn!
